The microproject helps Reshma continue her Computer Science and Engineering Degree Both her parents are extremely poor and cannot send her to College without your support. A donation of $1000 can help her complete her Second Year of Engineering.
Reshma belongs to a tiny village in Annamayya district. Her father is hearing impaired and can't work, mother washes dishes in a hotel. They do not have a house of other own. She received a free seat in CSE in Mother Theresa Institute of Engg, Chittoor, needs help for hostel fee, transport and purchasing clothes. Without education, she would be married off by her relatives or would remain unemployed. We'll ensure that she doesn't become a mother at a young age, not face serious health issues
By providing support for Hostel Fee and other expenses, together with counseling, education material , computer, library access, test papers the project makes it possible for Reshma to complete BTech and look forward to a good job or higher studies. Her success story can inspire more girls to think big.
The project will provide education to 200 first generation school going girls and help them attain high school education at the least. Beneficiaries who complete school to secondary level are supported with higher education, training, apprenticeships and/or employment. About 150 families (750 people) will be direct and indirect beneficiaries of this initiative.
