Greetings from SERUDS
Lakshmi is 12yrs old intelligent girl child in IGMM High School. She is studying 6th class ‘A’ Section. Father Kotesh works as daily wage auto driver. He will get very less amount of money as income after all the expenses. With this meager income he spends on cheap liquor for drinking. Because of he is drunken father, whatever he earns spending on alcohol. He hardly gives any money in home. Lakshmi mother is finding it very difficult to run their family. Family is big but earning money is less enough to survive the basic needs, by the fewer amounts She can’t afford the education of all the three children. So, her mother wants to go for house hold work near by her house as a servant. Unfortunately she didn’t get any work because of her husband behavour so mother decided to stop lakshmi for school.
SERUDS observed that lakshmi not attending school. We went to their home discussed the matter and survived her family by supporting educational material to lakshmi to continue her education with out any break. She has been provided Long and short Note books, Pens, Pencils, Sharpeners, Erasers, Scale, Shoes, Shocks, and Branded new stitched uniforms of two pairs, School Bag, English to Telugu Dictionary. This Educational support has been extended with your generous donation through GlobalGiving. Now, with the support of SERUDS Lakshmi is happily continuing her studies. She is also having dream to become as Doctor.
