Jyothi a growing girl child is 9yrs old resident of Budhavarapeta, Kurnool Town. She is studying 6th class in IGMM High School, A.Camp, Kurnool. Jyothi mother is Bhagyamma. She is a widow woman, who is working in small hotel as a dish wash cleaner. When jyothi is small, her father died with illness. After her father death her mother wanted to do work to survive for food. So she went in search of job at last she got daily wage work in a small hotel as a cleaning server. Her salary is very less and it is not at all sufficient to support her family. Mother is an illiterate woman but she knew the value of study, however her in-sufficient income & surroundings misguiding her to stop her daughter studies and support in house hold work. By stopping her studies she felt sad while her friends going to school, but as thinking mind girl she supported her mother words to stop her studies.
SERUDS supported Jyothi by by providing educational material Long and short Note books, Pens, Pencils, Sharpeners, Erasers, Scale, Shoes, Shocks, and Branded new stitched uniforms of two pairs, School Bag. This Educational support has been extended with your generous donation through GlobalGiving. By providing education support to her, family felt very happy. Her mother is very happy to sending her daughter to school again. School Head Master and Teachers also appreciated SERUDS for taken up such wonderful initiatives for the deprived children.
