After a challenging start to the year, Fundación Tiempo de Juego is happy to share that, thanks to the generosity of people like you and the support of partners from the private sector and international cooperation, we have been able to provide every participant with a snack at each training session.
As of September 1st, together we have delivered 22,628 snacks across all our activities. In the communities where we work, food insecurity is a daily reality that limits children’s performance, their development, and even their ability to dream. Your support has allowed us to change that reality, offering not just nourishment, but also hope.
Thanks to your donation, participants have been able to access a snack twice a week, while also engaging in activities that strengthen their psychosocial skills, encourage resilience, and help them build life projects based on their own aspirations.
Beyond food, these safe spaces protect children and youth from critical risks such as recruitment by illegal armed groups, substance use, teenage pregnancy, and gang involvement. Every snack shared, every moment of play, every workshop is a step toward a future where our kids can grow up safe, healthy, and empowered.
This achievement confirms the power of collective action. When we come together, we show that there are no impossible matches when we play as a team. We are deeply grateful for your generosity and trust, it fuels us to keep going, to keep growing, and to continue opening doors of opportunity for every child we reach.
Thank you for believing in them, and for playing on our team.
