To eradicate poverty wherever it exists, regardless of ethnicity. Most of the girls come from poor families and from small towns or villages. Some have to take a sampan to get to the bigger town and then had made their way to VTOC for an opportunity to study a skill. With a skill training received some did well in their training and wish to continue studying.
To help Caroline binti Kulip a youth from a small town in Sabah and Mazlina bte Masunti who is from a small town in the mainland. They decided to continue with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. They come from poor families. After completing their training at VTOC they are now continuing their studies and have started getting CGPA scores of 3.19 and 3.48 but cannot manage to complete their studies because of lack of finance.
We provide shelter and encourage them to continue their studies. We help to place them in Institutions to continue their studies. In this way they are able to earn a better income and help provide for their families.
The project will educate120 young women and girls each year allowing them to have a real chance to break the cycle of poverty and lead fulfilling lives and becoming role models in their own communities.
