Thanks so much for supporting evacuees like Emmanual.
Three year old Emmanual lives with his parents, two sisters and brother in Banaba, just outside Manila. Emmanual’s house is poorly constructed and is dangerously close to a river. Every year there are typhoons and floods, and Emmanual’s house is often flooded.
Emmanual needs his nearest evacuation center to be properly equipped so that his family has somewhere safe to shelter when disaster strikes.
And now, because of your generosity, we’ll be able to install seven private family cubicles in Emmanual’s evacuation center. The building will eventually house over 110 families during storms, and providing cubicles for everyone will take time, but your generosity gives us the means to make progress one cubicle and family at a time. Thank you so much.
We’ll send you updates about how your gift is changing the lives of Emmanual, his family, and families like theirs right here on GlobalGiving. Should you ever have any questions about how we’re using your donation, please don’t hesitate to email Andy@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from you!
One last time, thanks so much for ensuring that Emmanual will have shelter from the storm.
