Hi supporter/Donor,
Muniamma, our beneficiary said “I never saved money earlier, Now it is possible for me to earn from home and send my children to school or pay doctor fee, when we are sick,” said one of the CHHASE tailoring trainee, “but now, many people will come to me for stitching cloths and I will be able to save enough money to send my children to school or to pay for the medical fees if they are sick. Now No worry like I did before.”
After completion of training, the women who are unable to start their own tailoring at their homes are receiving sewing machines and different color threads for their small business.
After being trained in the vocational skill of their choice, the young women eager to start working. While many of them were successful in small ways, they faced many obstacles in starting a business with their little capital and many familial responsibilities.
CHHASE staff informed the beneficiaries that Global giving with their gracious donations, made their dreams come true. Now CHHASE is going to provide them the sewing machines and different color threads to start their own business. On hearing the news from our staff, the beneficiaries were happy and eager to receive sewing machines.
With more young women entering the training in the coming months, CHHASE hopes to be able to extend the opportunity to many more young women in need.
