Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue teens participate in the Keystone Club program. Keystoners implement their own activities in 6 areas: service to Club & community, leadership development, education & career exploration, unity, free enterprise and social recreation. The National Keystone Conference provides teens with a positive leadership experience where they meet with peers, discuss relevant issues and develop new skills.
Our Keystone Club would like the opportunity to travel to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's National Keystone Conference in March 2013. Keystone is a National Boys and Girls Club program that local clubs participate in across the country. Keystone Club is comprised of teenage youth who choose to spend their free time involved in civic engagement bettering our community. Without the help of donations, our members are unable to participate and be recognized for their efforts.
The donations received will allow all of our Keystone members to travel the national Keystone conference and take part in civic workshops, receive recognition for the efforts throughout the year, partake in educational experiences, hear influential guest speakers, and further their skills as today's youth leaders. This is an amazing opportunity to give back to teens that donate their time throughout the year.
Your donation ensures that youth-inspired, created, and led community programs will continue. We also recognize that these youth are the next generation of leaders in our community and beyond. This project fosters a culture where younger Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue members will be inspired by their peers to become communally involved creating a cycle of local minded youth who embrace the needs of their towns and the people who live there.
