Sonia's life was turned upside down by the earthquake. Her mother was killed, and although she and her father survived, they lost everything they had. Since then, Sonia's dad hasn't been able to find work, so he hasn't been able to pay Sonia's school fees. Sonia's education is funded through the end of 2014, but there are so many children whose stories are just like Sonia's and who aren't in school. Your donations will help us provide an education for more kids like Sonia.
School in Haiti is not free, and if a family cannot pay, their children simply do not attend. Lack of education locks these children in a cycle of poverty. Ensuring access to school not only improves children's lives, but strengthens Haitian communities in the long-term.
