Colombia has a large amount of people with reduced mobility. In Mahavir Kmina we have reached 74% of the national territory, we hav donated 3076 prosthesis all over the country. However, there is still a long way to go. We want to have a bigger coverage and benefit who ever needs it.
We are commited with a vulnerable population which we intervene with the prostheses provided to them. Mahavir Kmina not only fabricates and donates prostheses for those whom needs them, we also give life quality, we give a new beggining and improve our kids living conditions.
Makavir Kmina provides prostheses to 450 amputees per year. This project will provide in a one-year period, prostheses to 30 children and youth between 1 and 25 years old who have suffered lower limb amputation allowing them to become independent in their daily life activities. Therefore they will have the opportunity to return to school, college or work, thus improving their living conditions and those of the people around them.
