I hope this report finds you well.
This micro-project was designed to facilitate the purchase of school shoes for underprivileged children living in the poverty and squalor of Informal Settlements in Johannesburg.
Thanks to your kind donations, we have over the past year been able to present new school shoes to over 110 boys and girls from Zandspruit Primary School. The school is located within an informal settlement in the Honeydew area of Johannesburg. The settlement is comprised mainly of tin structures otherwise referred to locally as shacks. The school shoes make a great difference to the children’s self-esteem and their motivation to attend school.
We certainly would not have been able to do this without your support.
Thank you
