Dear Friends- Thanks so much for your important donation to our project Safe Water for Haiti Earthquake Victims. I want to share a quick note about our work so far, using the funds you have provided.
We have two teams of young volunteers who live in the area of the earthquake and they were affected as well. Being on site and knowing their communities needs they have focused on several remote villages that were especially damaged in the earthquake. They feel that the communities can be reached by motor bike and so in the next weeks they will be bringing emergencies supplies and water purification materials to the families there. They will provide training in safe water practices and distribute clean water storage containers, and report back about additional needs.
Agua Pura Para El Pueblo is committed to helping these families and others have safe drinking water, and we expect our projects to continue for some time.
Thanks again and we’ll sent you a longer report later.
