This project helps sustain the vital services and programs we provide to children and teens in our safe, supportive environments. Our Clubs provide a safe place and high-impact development programs to over 15,000 children and youth during critical non-school hours.
9 out of 10 participants of Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico live in poverty or underserved communities. For many, our Clubs serve as their primary support system, offering opportunities to grow and empowering them to become productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
Last year, we served over 15,000 children and youth, ensuring they have the resources needed to stay on track with their education, nutrition, and physical and emotional health. Our goal is to continue offering a safe, constructive environment during out-of-school time, while addressing issues such as food insecurity, dropout rates, and exposure to risk factors for mental health challenges.
Our programs closely align with the developmental needs of children and youth aged 6 to 18. This project will support their path to great futures, helping them to learn, reach their full potential, feel good about themselvesand meet the challenges of tomorrow.
