The 1000 Miles for $1000 – Victoria’s Ride for Hope fundraiser was created with a simple but powerful goal: to turn miles into meaningful support for DII. Through dedication, community spirit, and an incredible physical challenge, this project brought people together around hope, perseverance, and generosity.
At the heart of this fundraiser was Victoria Di Castro Horn, who committed to biking 1,000 miles in support of DII. Each mile represented determination, resilience, and a shared belief that small efforts, when combined, can create real impact.
Our fundraising goal was $1,000, and thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we successfully raised $443 toward that goal. While we did not reach the full target, the funds raised are a meaningful contribution and a testament to the kindness and encouragement of everyone who participated.
This fundraiser would not have been possible without you. Every donation, message of encouragement, share, and cheer along the way made a difference. Your support helped fuel Victoria’s journey mile after mile and reminded us that we are stronger when we work together.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Victoria Di Castro Horn for her extraordinary commitment. Biking 1,000 miles is no small feat, and her dedication to riding for DII inspired everyone involved. Her effort embodied the true spirit of this fundraiser—hope, compassion, and action.
Although the ride has ended, the impact continues. We are incredibly thankful for the $443 raised, the awareness generated, and the community that rallied behind this cause. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in Victoria’s Ride for Hope and for helping turn miles into meaningful support.
