Thank you for the funds raised through GlobalGiving.
Camp Human Nature, a community-led non-profit in Uganda is working to create livelihoods, build food security and mitigate climate change through ecosystem restoration and community training.
This project will: 1. Enhance food security by restoring the degraded land around the forest reserve on which the local community depends. 2. Stimulate economic empowerment of women and teenage mothers by training 11 villages on commercial regenerative vegetable growing.
With your support the project started to:
As the first donation is relatively small we cannot link it directly to specific outcomes. But it is one of the first international grants that we received and it will help us grow our impact further.
We will continue to build these and our other programs, expanding them to reach more local communities — to help empower many more people in our region to live better, lighter, and within ecological means.
We value your generous support and commitment to our ecosystem restoration—we couldn’t have done it without your help and we hope you will keep supporting us.
