CHECKING UP ON MATES
Seeing some mates who have been benefiting from our project, we decided to engage them on discussions. We conversed with those whose release is within the next six months especially. It was discovered that two out of twelve needs more training in carving. Our secretary noted this and filled it into our to-do note book. Apart from these two inmates, the rest are found to be good at the different fields they were trained.
Before unloading our gifts and donations from the community, a role call was made with the intention of physical supervision of their behavior which was found to be okay. It's now the time to share different gifts ranging from range of inspirational books to biscuits and fruit drinks. They received all with excitement and thanked C4HDI, donors and other stakeholders.
Our mural instructor was also around to ask them questions on how to be good citizens. All our beneficiaries answered correctly which made us happier.
MORE INTERACTIONS.
The data which we had collected in the previous year on their health status was read out to our beneficiaries hearing. We prepared tailored questionnaire and asked them accordingly. The answers we got from it is encouraging especially on the particular question "how do you feel now compared to how you felt before being in the C4HDI training". All answered that they feel better being under the training and expressed their commitment and appreciations to Champions For Humanity Development Initiative C4HDI.
Interactions with the volunteers, as reported earlier, shows that our community is encouraging and supportive of our project as more people are volunteering to join our project which they describe as Lofty.
GAMING TOGETHER.
As we settled, we engaged in several indoor games with our beneficiaries. We introduced songs. All sang their hearts out! A feeling of fulfillment was felt as different voices of different tones could be heard at the same time. "Those bass tones made me feel great", said one volunteer on our way back home. " I like the alto tones" our staff member said as the discussions were ongoing. Those who really have a flare for music called on us to help buy them musical instruments. We recorded the suggestion on our data for further discussions, our secretary expressed her joy at the suggestion.
CONCLUSIONS AT THE END.
Eventhough we had our data ready with us, we collected more as a result of the interactions we had today. We are going to look into this data and use our digital analyticals to arrive at the most appropriate solution to implement in order to rest our mission of converting the inmates. In the past, through the help of digital analytics, we discovered important areas to channel energy in our project, which is yielding positives. For instance, through the digital analyticals, we learnt more efficient ways of managing items such as disinfectants and soap which now lasts longer compared to when we hadn't deployed the digital analytics.
At the end of the day today, all our beneficiaries were thankful to us, to our donors and to the stakeholder.
