After the fire destroyed the restaurant and the fish collection and sales center, the Barra Sarstún Fishing Committee in the Rio Sarstún Multiple Use Area in Guatemala, did not falter and together began the reconstruction of the fish collection and sales center.
With donations in cash and material from other organizations and the support provided by you through GG, they are closer to achieving their goal, in activating the center.
They will begin small, reactivating the center and creating a space for a cafeteria. Once the center and cafeteria generate the necessary income, they will seek to build and open the restaurant again.
Let their hard work be an example, that even in face of adversity, you can stand tall as a group with help from others who envision the same opportunities.
Thank you for being part of this process and aiding us to help our friends in need.
Let this grain of sand fill you with joy, the Committee is closer with each passing day.
Thank you
