10 Orphaned Adolescents Raise Pigs for Business

Thank YOU so much for your continued support of the children we serve in Zimbabwe!  While we weren’t able to fund this entire micro-project, together, we were able to provide children with livestock, porridge, training and HOPE.   So many children have been affected by your generosity:

• To date, 697 orphaned families (over 4,000 children) have started growing flocks and herds
• As of yesterday, 78 families re-distributed animals to other needy families, which is such a fantastic story of dignity and caring – from one needy family to another
• Children are going back to school, now that they have milk and eggs to sell
• Children are gaining weight and are healthier now that their gardens are growing and that they have protein to eat and drink
