The project is now in full swing and for the last two weeks, the teenagers have been giving puppet theatre sessions at the partner schools with a new play "A story from the Ilha de Moçambique", an adaptation of a book of Mozambican Tales that we published a few years ago. Aline, a teacher, is very pleased that the project is back because as she says, "I have been accompanying this project since 2012 and year by year it has been getting better, the children love it and every year there is something new so even the children who have benefited the previous year enjoy it, their reading improves and they love it when they have the books in the classroom and also the games; it provides a break in our routine which is also important for the children."
A special thank you to Gabriel and Michal who ran a half marathon in Poznan, Poland in order to raise money for this project and also to the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Foundation who have generously made a donation which alongside the money raised through this campaign will cover the project costs until the end of the year.
