Challenge

The current microscope is old and worn out. No longer providing the accurate test results. Many times the clinicians and nurses are unable to provide treatment because we do not have a microscope. Patients are sent away to another clinic and many miles away. This discourages patients and many are not able to travel far away.

Solution

The microscope will improve diagnoses and confidence of patients in the treatment given to them

Long-Term Impact

The project will achieve strong improvements in the diagnoses of many illnesses including malaria, HIV/AIDS, thyroid etc..
