The project “Providing Food Supplies for Displaced Families” was initiated to support vulnerable families who have been displaced due to Thai troops invasion in Cambodia teritory. The primary goal was to ensure that these families have access to essential food supplies and to help improve their living conditions during times of hardship.

Activities Implemented:

  • Identification and selection of displaced families in the refugee camp "Visotamak pagod" - a rural area of Siem Reap province.
  • Provided food supplies such as rice,  cooked food, cooking oil, vegetables, and other basic necessities
  • Offered  toothbrushing and toothpastes 
  • Organized and tauch English to displaced children.
  • Coordination with local volunteers and community leaders to ensure smooth implementation

Results and Impact:

  • 122  displaced families received essential food support.
  • 35 chidlren got study materials and learnt English from our volunteers. 
  • 35 studdnts got toothbrushes and toothpastes
  • Local authority of the district did well cooperation. 

Conclusion:
The project successfully provided much-needed food assistance to displaced families, helping to alleviate immediate hunger and improve their well-being. Despite some challenges, the positive impact on the community was evident. Continued support and future initiatives are essential to sustain and expand this effort.

Thank you very much to all our donors and supporters who donated to our project and made it happened for the second times of border conflict between Cambodia and Thailand. It is very vaule and useful to save displaced people's lives during the conflict.
