Race of Stars 2014

Little Drivers
In order to get some support for our foundation, the past 30th of November we launched for the fourth time our "Race of Stars". This is one of our main events since it marked the beginning of our foundation. For this special event, we invited many of the best racing car drivers in the world, offering a world-known show to all Colombians.
This fourth edition was particularly different since the competitors of the main race were the same age as the kids that are benefit from our foundation, and they had to compete under the same values we teach: honesty, respect, tolerance and humility. Beyond this, they learned how important it is to give a part of what they have to those kids who haven’t had the same opportunities.
Results were excellent, and we were able to close a year full of smiles, also benefiting those kids who learned how to be more supportive with each other.

Triathlon San Andres Island and the developing of our New Metodology "SPARK"

Within the framework of our new alliance with the Colombian Triathlon Federation, whose objective is to help improve the wellbeing and education of Colombia’s children through the practice of sports, the Colombian Triathlon Cup was held in San Andres Island during the past 26 through 28 of April. More than 600 athletes from Colombia, Ecuador, Panamá and Venezuela competed in Olympic swimming over a distance of 1.5 Km of open sea, 40 Km of cycling and 10 km of running to finally finish the beautiful route designed around the Island.

2012 and The New Beginning 2013

During 2012 the Foundation reached important achievements listed below:
- 656 Benefited Children
- 458 physical education classes given in "Ruben Dario, Emmanuel Bautista and San Francisco Javier" Schools
- 8 special activities that create recreational spaces between the children, their families and their community
- 560 hours dictated in Sports Training Schools (Football and Basketball programs)
It is important to mention that our children of the Basketball school were selected (because of their excellence in this sport) to participate in a one day camp in a Colombian city known as "Tunja". This activity took place in December and consisted in a practice led by Patrik Pellerin, a Physical Education Coach from Houston, Texas. At the end of the day, 12 players who showed great discipline skills, were invited to participate in a basketball camp held in Houston. 10 of the 12 seats were taken by our children thanks to the discipline and perseverance with which they assume their trainings.
We cannot stop developing our programs in order to improve the quality of life of our children. That is why during 2013 our beneficiates started to work in their physical education classes through the new Foundation´s program named “SPARK”. This program has been helping them to develop physical and social abilities using an innovative methodology. This new program improves their health and behavior.
