Greetings!
We are pleased to share with you that the children are able to access their online classes thanks to the tablets purchased by generous donors such as yourselves. We now have tablets for 33 families! The wifi at the centre has been boosted, and we are in the midst of adding more computers and laptops to the computer lab, which complement the tablets for research and reports writing by the students. Thanks to you, we are ensuring that no child will be left behind in our programs!
Education is the way out of the cycle of poverty, and we are so grateful to have you in the community of care for these children. As the pandemic drags on in Bolivia, we are seeing more and more families driven into extreme poverty. We have increased the number of children in our program twice this year so far, and know that the need will increase for the 2022 school year. We do not want to turn any child in need away!
If you would like to continue supporting these children, please consider signing up as a monthly donor through our main project page on GlobalGiving, as this micro project has now ended. Every dollar helps, and sustained giving enables us to budget and plan for the future.
Thank you again for your generosity!
Lydia
