Respected Donor and Well Wisher,
Thank you for all your support for the poor kids of working women through GlobalGiving Organization.
This micro project is protecting child rights, providing pre-primary education through play items, alphabets charts, rhymes to the 1-6yrs age group children. These kids are belongs to the slums in different locations of Kurnool Town and their parents works as daily wage labourers like scavenging, construction sites, tobacco (beedi) making units, cheap liquor factories, etc. Due to poverty and illeterate among them they take their kids to the job places and leave them in hazardous situations. By seeing all this situations SERUDS has been decided to run day care centers for these deprived kids and started in 2009 and protecting 90 children from 3 day care centers from hazardous situations. The children used to play in human dung places, open defication.
Since then providing midday meals to these kids in day care centers. The meal includes, steamed cooked rice, taar dhal, curry, chutney, snacks like choclates, biscuits, etc. The children and their parents are very happy for this support. During their job time the children keeps in day care centers.
The kids habituations have been improved, due to protein diet the children are very healthy and coming regularly to the day care centers. Children parents expressed sincere gratitude towards this kind gesture.
