We have been getting your high valued liberal support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from our heart.
Most of the tribal are illiterate and unskilled. Because of lack of skills, they face hardship to earn.The tribal, they go for agricultural labor work, wood cutting, humting rats and fishing. They are not even getting 50 days of labor work around a year. In this critical position, they are unable to provide children two meal per day. Many days they are starving.
CHHASE felt the urgency and started meals program which is helping the tribal children to escape starvation.Because of this provision, the children are healthy and go to school without starving. They all are studying well.
Kanniamma, one of our tribal mother said " I am a widow with two kids. I go for agricultural labor work. With my meagre income, i was unable to provide one meal a day. My children used to go to school starving. I was feeling sorrow for starving my children. Now my children are getting meals from CHHASE NGO and i am happy and my children go to school regularly and studying well. Thank you for helping me."
