Feeding Poor Old Age Person by Giving Groceries

Dear Donor,

Thank you for supporting poor old age person by providing groceries through GlobalGiving. We are here mentioning the details of Utilization of the beneficiary as follows:

Personal Story:

Mrs. Laxmamma aged 75 years old belongs to Backward Community. She is living in H.No.2-81, Pasupala village, Kurnool Mandal & District, AP. She was having one son & two daughters. Son is living separately and working as daily wage labourer in Agriculture fields. Due to dispute in the home with daughter-in-law she came out and living separately. Husband Mr.Venkataramudu passed away 20years ago, due to jaundice. Son and Daughter-in-law are not caring her. 2 Daughters got married and living in in-law houses in different villages. She is having terrible condition that, how she could lead her remaining life. She is having knee pain and could not do any work. Some times she will get food from neighbours. In this critical juncture, SERUDS identified her and providing monthly groceries with your generous support from August 2014. This would be period of 1 year. Some times her health not permits to do any work. That time neighbours will cook and feed her with these groceries.

Benefits Provided:

We have been providing every month ration kit consisting of 6Kgs of Sona Masoori Dry Rice, 1.5Kg Ahar Dal, 1Kg Sun Flower Oil, 1/2Kg Tamarind, 1/2Kg Coconut, 1/4Kg Coriander Powder, 1/4Kg Dry Chilli Powder, 1/4Kg Salt, 2 ETA Detergent Soaps, 2 Santoor Soaps, Biscuits, Vegetables, etc. with the your kind contribution.

Impact of Donation:
With this support she is happily cooking and having food 3 times in a day. Thereby she is happily living and her physical & health conditions have been considerably increased.
