Make a Wish ~ Street & Slum Children !!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.

Christmas, the festival of light and happiness, is celebrated by everyone, especially by kids with cheer and enthusiasm. Each and every house and the entire city gleam with light. All children enjoy the celebration of Christmas with their family but there are some children who have to live in the darkness of poverty, even on the ocassion of Christmas. There is not such importance of Christmas for such street children and celebrating it is just like a dream for them. These children don't have any shelter and enough meal for two times. When the city celebrates the festival of light, Christmas, at that time these poor and helpless street children hopes that probably God would send someone to help them who let them free from their darkened life. To bring some moments of joy and happiness, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the support of Global Giving Foundation has taken initiative and relight their celebration of Christmas.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of Global Giving, cake, chocolate, delicious and nutritious meal, fireworks, new dress, biscuits, sweets, and toys were distributed to 31 poor street and slum children at the slum nearby Madar Fatak. The organisation's activists gave dress to children and frock and suit to girls. The children wore caps, had cake and celebrated the festival of light, Christmas enthusiastically. They were so happy to get delicious meal and toys and thus their happiness and joy got enhanced thousand times. All children played with firework and light with joy and danced on the Christmas celebration. It is the support of Global Giving Foundation which helped those children to celebrate Christmas grandly and the happiness could be seen easily on the faces of children. Our activist had conversation with one little girl among those children.

Komal, is an 11 years old street child who had lost her mother 6 years ago because of her illness. Her father is a boozer and therefore, she had to live with other children at road side. Komal said, "She didn't eat anything for two days. So, I am too happy to get cake, chocolate, and delicious food that has been given by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan". Getting all those stuffs, her dreams got wings as she had felt all that in her dreams only. Komal had never worn any new dress till the day. She had only a torn frock which she wears everyday, But now she is so happy as she has got a new dress now. All children just like Komal were so happy which can't be expressed in words. At last, the activists of the organisation distributed Christmas gifts to the children and getting those gifts they were so happy. All children thanked Global Giving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan for all the joy and happiness and requested to bring such moments of joy and happiness again and again to their life.
