Firstly we would like to give a profound thanks for your support and donations to our project. We have been funded and enable us to buy more new storybooks and games for our children. They have enjoyed their reading and playing so much.
This year one of our goals is to encourage English learning in library. Every day our librarian tries to encourage students who join the library to practice their English with him. To make it easier, we teach English conversation in library to them.
In library, our librarian has been trying to read English storybooks for the students as well. We have observed that some students, who like the English stories, reread them and ask the librarian to assist them. Doing so, they can improve their English very fast, especially their reading and vocabularies. Particularly, the high-level students are now motivated to do research in English in library. This is a good way to improve their English and it allows them to take responsibility in their learning.
We have seen a positive result with this strategy, as our students are more and more familiar with English. Therefore, library takes an important role to develop our students’ English.
