Summary

Abdulrahman is a 16-year-old Syrian refugee living in Turkey. After losing sight in his left eye, he's now facing the terrifying risk of going completely blind. His family fled war in Syria only to find poverty and hardship in exile. With no income to cover treatment, Abdulrahman urgently needs your help to save his remaining eye. This project will fund every step of Abdulrahman's medical care: from diagnostic exams and advanced imaging to treatment, follow-ups, and supportive care.

Challenge

Abdulrahman's left eye is already blind. The doctors say the right eye is starting to follow the same path: vision is blurring, pain is increasing, and the risk of complete blindness is real. For his refugee father, who barely earns enough to put food on the table, treatment is a luxury they simply can't afford. Without timely intervention, Abdulrahman could lose his sight completely-and with it, any hope of a normal life.

Solution

This project will fund every step of Abdulrahman's medical care: from diagnostic exams and advanced imaging to treatment, follow-ups, and supportive care. Specialists believe they can save his vision if they act now. Your donation will also support the emotional well-being of a child who has experienced trauma, pain, and fear far beyond his years. Together, we can protect his sight-and his childhood.

Long-Term Impact

If Abdulrahman loses his sight, he will lose much more than vision. He will lose his access to education, his ability to play with other children, and his chance at a self-sufficient future. Saving his eye means restoring his ability to learn, thrive, and grow with dignity. Your support can ensure that Abdulrahman becomes a student again-not just a patient-and that his dreams remain within reach.
