We are so glad to share that the allocation of noon meal subsidies for which your project had raised funds, has been done. We raised a total of $10,246.72, out of which we received INR 579198 after Globalgiving commissions, currency conversion charges, and intermediatiary bank charges and commissions. Each noon-meal subsidy costs INR 4000, thus we were able to sponsor noon meal subsidy for 145 students across 6 schools in Tamilnadu.
These subsidies will be used in the academic year 2018-19, which started on June 1st, 2018 and ends in April 2019. These 145 Students will be provided nutritious noon meals throughout the academic year. We will be sharing the photos and sharings of some of the students who received the sponsorship shortly.
The school split-up for the noon-meal subsidies is as follows:
Coimbatore school: 9
Tuticorin school: 77
Dharmapuri school: 14
Nagercoil school: 31
Erode school: 6
Cuddalore school: 8
We are so excited that your donations played a significant role in providing nutritious noon meal to these children, and they would be able to focus on their studies without a worry about their lunch. We thank you from our bottom of our hearts for your thoughtful donations.
