All of NFTE Fairchester’s microproject donations went towards our other project, providing IC3 training to students. Our project involving a career counseling and information session for middle school students in Westchester County, New York and Fairfield County, Connecticut did not receive donations. However, even without any financial gain from the Give For Youth platform, NFTE Fairchester still provides students with copies of Entrepreneurship: Owning Your Future, and Exploring Career for the 21st Century so that they can make informed choices about their future. NFTE strives to let students control their destiny, be it in entrepreneurship, pursuing higher education, or finding a job they are passionate about. The students of Westchester and Fairfield will still have NFTE’s classes to determine the correct path forward for them, even without the Career Links program.
