What do you actually need for life ?
Basic response would be just Food, Clothing and Shelter.
but as you grow in life you just keep on exploring better and better versions of food, clothing and shelter..may be with lesser and lesser efforts…and most importantly in fasted possible time..
Everything else for happy life …is mere an illusion.
With our micro project on Donations for clothes, medicines to sickle cell patients we tried to find the answer to the most common question of mankind…What do you actually need to be happy?
the answer we end up with was very simple..contentment.
As Bible says
‘But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.’
As this project was a micro project it was a part of our regular major screening camps every two months. We distributed warm clothes, medicines and other supplies like nutritional supplements this winter.
Sickle Cell Anemia is sometimes triggered by any physiological stress like climate change, too cold season and exercise. So our aim was to keep everyone winter ready.
We received funds around 250 USD and we used that fund in buying medicinal supplements and warm clothes. Children were the most affected in winter so our priority were children and ladies.
This distribution was such a fulfilling experience that we would like to conduct such micro projects under the umbrella of main sickle cell patients so as to provide 360 degrees care to new and old sickle cell patients.
We managed to help many from this project and now the project is in the last phase of submission of report we would like to keep going always to help someone somebody in need.
We must thank all the donors who thought of others pain and comfort than that of theirs and contributed for this noble cause.
Sending you some happy faces from the donation drive.
Looking forward to work on another need based micro project with GlobalGiving.
Thanks and regards
