Personal Story:
Mrs.Chenchamma aged 60 years old belongs to Backward Community. She is living in Pasupala village, Kurnool Mandal, Kurnool District. She is having son and daughter. Daughter got married with hotel dish wash cleaner and living in in-law house. Chenchamma is having knee pain not able to do any kind of work. Before when her husband was live she did not have any hurdles. Her husband passed away due to heart attack. Due to this critical conditions son stopped his education and working & getting low income. With this meager income only family able to run. But some times they struggle for the daily needs in the home. Due to poverty her daughter forcedly stopped education and did early marriage. In this critical juncture, SERUDS identified her through one of our volunteers and providing monthly groceries.
Benefits providing every month:
We have been providing monthly ration kit for one year consisting of 6Kgs of Sona Masoori Dry Rice, 1.5Kg Ahar Dal, 1Kg Sun Flower Oil, 1/2Kg Tamarind, 1/2Kg Coconut, 1/4Kg Coriander Powder, 1/4Kg Dry Chilli Powder, 1/4Kg Salt, 2 ETA Detergent Soaps, 2 Santoor Soaps, Species, Parachut Hair Oil, Biscuits and vegetables with the kind donations through GLOBALGIVING Organization.
Impact of Donation:
With this support she is happy that, she is able to eat stomach fully along with her son for the one month and this activity will trigger the other people in the village to support her.
