Dear Esteemed Donors,
Namaste and warm greetings from BASS, India. We appreciate your unwavering support.
We’re pleased to share the closing progress report for Micro Project Michoung Cyclone and Floods Relief Project in Andhra Pradesh, spanning in December 2023. Despite raising only $70 within 90 days (with a goal of $9,000), our commitment to aiding those in need remains steadfast. Unfortunately, this project has been marked as retired and unsuccessful.
In early December 2023, Cyclone Michoung struck with devastating force, severely affecting the coastal regions of Guntur and Bapatla districts. Homes, agriculture, infrastructure, and livelihoods were all impacted, leaving families destitute and facing food scarcity, water pollution, and health hazards.
In response, we launched this urgent micro-project on GlobalGiving, raising only $70. Combined with support from GlobalGiving and other contributors, we provided critical relief to 200 affected families. Essential supplies—including ration kits with staple foods and hygiene products—were distributed, and educational sessions on emergency preparedness were conducted.
Additionally, we assisted in rebuilding efforts by providing tarpaulin sheets to 70 families whose homes were damaged. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the timely and substantial support. We also extended aid to another 200 families, offering emergency food supplies and roofing materials.
Our heartfelt thanks go to GlobalGiving for their generous support. Your assistance has been crucial in providing life-saving relief and aiding the recovery of families affected by floods and cyclones.
We humbly appeal for your continued support and kindly ask you to share information about our project with your network. Consider contributing to our Elderly Meal Program, which provides nourishment and care to our senior community members.

Thank you for your compassion and solidarity. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
With deepest gratitude
