This GlobalGiving project helped raise a portion of the financial support needed to fund Conviventia's medical brigade to the communities on the border of Venezuela and Colombia. This brigade was carried out with the approval of the Mayor and in alliance with the Colombian Army, who ensured the Conviventia team was able to get to the border safely and helped us distribute materials and services. The brigade took place from July 5-16th and served 4 municipalities (Herran, Ragonvalia, Cucutilla, & Chitaga). Services such as general and internal medicine, odontology and oral hygiene, optometry, evangelism, social work, psychology, and recreational services were provided. Gifts in kind were also distributed, such as medicines, food, basic need hygiene products, clothes, cleaning products, school supplies, and more. In total, 5,050 people benefitted from the services of this brigade. Praise Jesus! We thank you sincerely for your donations to this brigade and your support to Conviventia, may God reward you tenfold. In His Grace, The Conviventia Team.
