Greetings,
26 Months ago I had a vision to support orphans and vulnerable children in Nakuru, Kenya with education, food, clothing, shelter and medical needs.
You came along and supported this vision, we are so grateful for your love and support so far.
The last six month we started our campaign for the third project-livestock project to raise rabbits, chickens and goats as part of our ongoing sustainability goal. So far we have achieved 90% of our livestock project with your support. The rabbit urine is harvested for farming(fertilizer and insecticide) and the waste products for compost. The goat milk and eggs will be used to feed the children. Our goal is to be a fully self sustainable project while caring for the environment.
We have built a shed with four rooms for rabbits, chickens, goats and storage room for food. We have two toggenburg goats, 5 Newzealand california giant rabbits, and several chickens. We greatly appreciate your donations and support.
The following items are pending to complete our project, perimeter fencing, solar security system, flooring for the shed, food supply for the animals and salary for the caretaker. The estimated budget for the above is $5000. Every donation has been used 100% to support orphans and vulnerable children in kenya.
The entire Upendo family appreciates all your support and love so far. We look forward to starting our trade school(technical school) towards the end of the year.
Warm Regards,
Founder,
Upendo United Foundation
