This campaign aims to bring light to 150 households in Rajasthan's slum and street communities, where families live without electricity. Through the "Solar Lights: A Ray of Hope for Slums Families" initiative, we will distribute solar lights and deliver training to empower residents transforming lives with safe, sustainable, and reliable energy.
Imagine living in total darkness after sunset. For many slum and street-dwelling families, this is a daily reality. No electricity: Families depend on dangerous kerosene lamps or costly alternatives. Safety risks: Poor lighting makes women, children, and elders vulnerable after dark. Limited opportunities: Students can't study at night, and health needs go unmet without proper light.
We will provide 150 solar light kits-each designed to charge during the day and provide light at night-along with: Hands-on community workshops on using and maintaining solar lights. Skill-building sessions so locals can perform basic repairs and feel empowered. Regular monitoring to ensure long-term impact and sustainability.
Your support will: Give children light to study and improve their future. Make communities safer, especially for women and girls. Reduce indoor pollution and energy costs. Train residents in green skills for greater self-reliance. Lay the foundation for a healthier, brighter, and empowered community.
