Dear friends,
thank you very much for your donations helping to guarantee a more accurate diagnoses and a better control of treatment progress for kids hospitalized in Lviv.
Zaporuka organized a high scale fund raising campaign to purchase a modern centrifuge machine for the Lviv Pediatric Hospital. In addition to GlobalGiving project we held the Red Nose Day in Lviv during which we raised money for it. Certain companies, organizations and private donors joined the campaign too.
The company selling centrifuge machines in Ukraine gave us a better discount, thus the amount required was less than expected and we made a 60% advance payment. Now we are waiting for the delivery at the end of December. It will be a Christmas gift for kids hospitalized in Lviv.
As soon as the centrifuge machine is delivered and installed we will inform you with a new report. The equipment will be used to make a correct diagnose and to supervise treatment progress for kids like Maria you see in the picture. Thus, the treatment will be much more efficient!
Thank you very much for helping seriously ill kids and for contributing to the approximation of the level of medical assistance in Ukraine to the best world standards.
