The Live and Learn in Kenya International program children and their thrilled parents enjoyed a wonderful Christmas due to the many donations from sponsors, friends, and GlobalGiving donors! Their kitchens at home were filled with the celebratory scents of cooking chicken with all of the fixings - and some sweets to go with it - for the entire family. You can imagine the joy it brought to all involved to have a table set with delicious food and love filling the air - knowing that even strangers cared enough to make this possible for them.
The children received lovely Live and Learn in Kenya T-shirts that were specifically designed for them by the American artist Nancy Giammaro and were delighted and proud to be seen with the colorful and vibrant print showing that they belonged to one of Nakuru's most welcoming and loving organizations.
We want to thank all of the wonderful donors for making this once again a Christmas of Holiday Magic. Spreading the Joy of Christmas is a joy that lasts all year round.
