Lucas S. cares and the children enjoyed a wonderful meal through his awesome and generous donation for a meal on Wednesday, October 18th. There were miles of smiles when they sat down to a plate filled with meat and rice and vegetables. Thank you so much for your generous donation Lucas.
It is not always easy to feed all of the hungry children on the Live and Learn in Kenya International program. As we are a small organization doing big things, we fully depend on private donations in order to get our work done in the slums of Nakuru, Kenya. Sending so many children to school, keeping them fed and medically fit and off the streets is a daily challenge. But it is a challenge worth taking. Especially when you see the huge smiles on the faces of children who would more than likely have ended up begging in the streets - or worse. So we are more than thankful for every donation!
