We are supporting Violeth since she was in secundairy school. Coming from a poor family she was held in the house doing the household with her grandmother, but having greater dreams. After graduating last year we searched for a place where she can grow further and we found a school where she starts in february 2026 for a 2 year full time (with hostel) education for Tour Guide, with the promise of a internship after this course at Safaricompagnie Destiny Specialists. We need support for the fees.
We have found a school, The Help to Self Help Vocational Training College in Arusha, which is a NGO also, where student can learn a variety in courses. Look at https://hsh.or.tz/ for more information. Violeth lives too far from this school to attend a daily course, so she will be intern with clothes, meals and hostel, so she can socialise with other student and has enough time to study in the evening and she can attend special events.
This project askes for support of the education of Violeth. We have paid for the first half year, but are hoping for support for the other 1,5 year. The next partial payment must be done in August 2026. We hope we can provide this with new donations, so we don't need to stop the education.
By empowering a child, you will empower a generation. Over the long term, our project will lead to improved literacy rates, enhanced employability, and increased socio-economic opportunities for the children we support. As they grow into educated and skilled adults, they will become catalysts for positive change in their communities, breaking the cycle of poverty and fostering sustainable development for generations to come.
