Wow! We can’t believe you’ve brought us closer to funding security for
Servano during floods with a few clicks and your amazing generosity!
Servano and his family live in fear of the annual floods which affect
their community. They know the floods are coming – and when they do
come, they’ll need to evacuate. But their current evacuation centre
isn’t big enough, doesn’t have enough bathrooms, and always runs short
of basics like water, first aid supplies, and blankets.
That makes evacuation incredibly difficult for Servano’s family –
especially his disabled sister. Thanks to you, that’s all about to
change.
With your support we’ll help equip a safe, purpose built evacuation
centre for Servano’s family and 88 families like them. The centre will
have ample space, food, beds, and other basic necessities to keep
families like Servano’s safe and healthy when the flood waters rise.
Your generosity means that Servano and his family won’t live in fear
of floods because they’ll know they have a safe, comfortable shelter
where they can weather the storms. Thanks so much!
To let you know how your donation is changing lives, we’ll send you
regular updates right here on GlobalGiving through this project’s
parent project “Help 600 People Escape Floods and Poverty”. If you
ever have any questions about how we’re using your donation, please
don’t hesitate to email Emma@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from
you!
Thanks again for supporting Servano, and we wish you the very best!
