GlobalGiving Campaign Report
October 2013
Junior Achievement of Northern New England (JANNE) is deeply grateful to all our donors to the GlobalGiving Campaign.
The JANNE GlobalGiving project was to deliver entreprenership programs to students in kindergarten – 12th grades. We are pleased to report that, in the 2012-2013 academic year, JANNE surpassed this goal and reached a total of 38,000 students through 1,700 trained volunteers.
What we must remember is that the JA experience can be equally as rewarding for our volunteers as it can be for the students we serve. Please take a moment to read this testimonial from a JA student.
“I never expected Junior Achievement to be anything like it is. I thought it would be a classroom lecture. I never thought it would be so interactive, giving me the opportunity to experience what it’s like to start a business. I hope to be a successful investor and businessman someday. Thank you, Junior Achievement, for giving me and my peers this great opportunity.”
