Greenlight for girls creates GREENLIGHT for STEM programs & events to inspire 10-15-year-old girls to pursue STEM studies & careers. These hands-on, interactive events demonstrate the link between STEM & girls' interests and teach science concepts in inspiring ways that encourage girls to see their potential.
Within the pressing global need and opportunity, we still see that women are less represented in STEM subjects, careers, and leadership, and we know that inspiring girls early and shifting their mindsets is the key to changing this ongoing challenge. Learning STEM subjects and skills (and the connection to simply everything around us) needs a rather big boost because school, or home, is not enough. That's where we come in and where we make a difference.
