For many patients needing a stem cell transplant, there is no matching donor to provide a second chance of life.
This is something that the WMDA community has been working to change for the past 30 years.
With the donations that we received for our project "Increasing the chances of patients finding cures", we helped healthcare professionals to attend our very successful International Donor Registry Conference in South Africa.
We will continue to support them with a free WMDA membership, which provides them with access to education, knowledge and resources.
Thank you to those who donated and have increased the chances of patients finding cures.
