Hey here, what's good?!
We just wanted to send a little update on our progress at in-tech-gration since our last fundraiser.
We started cohort 01, the first cohort after the pilot, at the beginning of October 2022 and are almost finished now, nearly 6 months later. We will be having a graduation ceremony at the end of the month where we will present the students with certificates and celebrate their achievements. We have grown close as a group and our aim to create a sense of community, and a support system within the cohort has also been a success.
We intend to start cohort 02 of the project later this year and have a new instructor joining our team full-time. This will be a massive help given that until now we have only had part-time volunteer instructors.
In the 3 months that this project fundraiser page was live, we raised close to €500. The money raised through GlobalGiving allows us to continue running this amazing and impactful project that has a direct impact on our students' employability and hopefully also their standard of living. The donations we receive are spent on rental contributions for the classrooms we use and the equipment we borrow. It is also used for events, such as graduation ceremonies, and maintaining our digital presence, including the website, our slack (messaging tool), and student content.
Thank you for your support. It is greatly appreciated and essential to the continued success of the project. We will be taking part in the Little By Little campaign on GlobalGiving at the beginning of April so please if you can donate or share our social media posts it would be a huge help.
Thanks again!
