Thanks so much for supporting Haiyan survivors like Jhanrey. Jahnrey is 7 years old and he’s a survivor of typhoon Haiyan. He lives with his parents and 5 year old sister in Tacloban’s Barangay 88. Zain’s dad is a construction worker and although he works hard it’s often tough to find a job because so many people are still unemployed after the typhoon.
This meant that Jhanrey and his family often went hungry.
But now because of your generosity, we’ll be able to provide hot meals for Jhanrey, his family, and families like theirs.
These meals will provide a lifeline by helping Haiyan survivors to avoid hunger and malnutrition. It will also allow poor families to spend more of their own precious income on rebuilding.
We’ll send you updates about how your gift is changing the lives of Jhanrey, his family, and families like theirs right here on GlobalGiving. Should you ever have any questions about how we’re using your donation, please don’t hesitate to email Andy@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from you!
One last time, thanks so much for ensuring that Jhanrey and his family can enjoy hot meals, and also for reminding him that there is someone who cares.
Very kind regards,
