YOU ARE PART OF OUR TEAM!!

Since the last time we send a report a lot had happen!! We feel very bless to have you as part of our Team.

We are not able to provide with photos of our children and/or their names, for their protection, but we are very happy to share with you part of their accomplishments and their histories.

At the moment, at the Home, we have four families of siblings, from six month old to nine years old. It is very helpful to be able to received their brothers and sisters because it helps in their adjustment in this difficult moment of losing their family and friends, and moving with us that, at first, we are strangers for them.

After summer we started with the project of getting everything for our kid’s schools. With every donation we were able to provide for their uniforms, school materials, tennis shoes, backpacks and others. Looking at their happy and surprise faces when they received everything it was priceless.

We have, at the Home, twelve scholars: three in Head Start, three in Kindergarten, four in first grade, one in second and one in fourth grade. They are receiving tutoring; we have a Tutor that comes in the afternoons to help them with their school work and projects. Some never had supervision in their homes so they have very bad grades and a lot of difficult adjusting to school. This year we have two sisters that were doing very badly in school but at the end of the school year, in May, they received trophies for their achievements and good grades. That’s only part of their accomplishments, because every day we see how their life’s changing in every way.

The children we received, at the Home, are from broken homes, victims of abuse, neglected in every way possible, some have broken bones, and other bruises in their bodies. We work towards their happiness and to provide for all their basic needs, specialize medical attention, therapy, recreation, sports, transportation and for everything they may need in a love and secure environment. Our main goal is to help them gain back their smile and to have a beautiful childhood were all their basic needs will be met. Our doors were open this year to received kids with special needs; various health conditions; allergies, ADD and other. They received special care, medication and they visit specialized doctors. All of those services and medications were paid with the love donations we are receiving; some doctor gave their services without charge.

During this past month we celebrated the birthday of three of our children and in a few weeks we will be celebrating two more. At the Home we try to make their wishful birthday possible, so we were able to celebrate with various themes: Cars, Frozen, Penguins and others. To see their faces receiving their wish is our happiness and making beautiful new memories in them.

They are, already, planning for their Christmas gifts, so, we will be planning for that to, to provide a great time for them.

Our vegetable garden is growing and helping us to provide with some product for the Home; plantains, bananas, potatoes, sweet potatoes and others, it is a great help.

We have a project with an Aguila-Boys Scout that are going rebuild the girls playing house, it was in a very bad conditions and the girls are already in the expectation of the new house to play.

Looking forward to continue working together for our children’s happiness. THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE, SENSIBILIITY AND DEDICATION towards our kids, together we can make their life’s a happy and a better one.

We feel very bless to have YOU in our TEAM.
