We want to provide critical emergency assistance to displaced Cambodians affected by the recent escalation of conflict with Thailand. This crisis has displaced numerous families, many of whom are still experiencing profound trauma rooted in decades of war and conflict, further exacerbating their vulnerability. Our proposed project aims to deliver immediate emotional support and essential resources (hygiene, medical and food) to those currently living in camps.
We are raising $10,000 to provide critical emergency assistance to displaced Cambodians affected by the recent escalation of conflict with Thailand. This crisis has displaced numerous families, many of whom are still experiencing profound trauma rooted in decades of war and conflict, further exacerbating their vulnerability.
We aim to deliver immediate emotional support and essential resources to those currently living in camps. Recognizing the deep-seated war trauma among Cambodians, especially women and children, we will establish a trauma-informed counseling program staffed by trained mental health professionals to help individuals process their experiences and foster resilience. Simultaneously, we will distribute food supplies, clean drinking water, hygiene kits, and basic medical aid.
Our team has extensive experience working with vulnerable populations regions, and we are committed to delivering swift, culturally sensitive aid. By addressing both emotional and material needs, this initiative seeks to stabilize displaced families and promote a pathway toward recovery and resilience.
