This project will help us give the local children a Christmas they will never forget! During the Christmas celebration our kids will be joined by local conservation NGOs that will not only allow our kids the opportunity to have a fun filled christmas, that they deserve, but also learn about the importance of conservation. They will receive presents from Santa, play conservation games and so much more. Everything a child needs to have a very merry Christmas.
This project address the issue of both conservation and children that deserve to have a Christmas celebration. This area is surrounded by beautiful game reserves with stunning wildlife but unfortunately these local children are never exposed to both the money or the wildlife and this leads to many issues such as poaching. This project will help teach the children about why they need to conserve wildlife at the same time actually enjoying christmas, as every child deserves a good christmas.
Together with other conservation NGOs, the children will develop relationships and gain a better understanding of these organisations. By having this celebration in time with Christmas it will also develop happy memories of these organisations, which these children will have for the rest of their lives, which will greatly impact their future choices.
We will support 4 creches thus allowing over 100 children to rise to a better future through allowing them to be healthy, well developed children that have had a chance to eat healthily, play & learn in a clean safe & hygenic environment and have been stimulated to learn important developmental skills. These skills play an important role in a childs further education. These creches & teachers will continue to offer quality ECD learning experiences and opportunities to children year after year.
